This Policy applies to Walmart.com and Walmart Business returns, as well as to those made at Walmart U.S. stores. Return & Exchange Exception:
Return policies vary across the identified goods and Service marketplaces, and include Return Policies for wireless phones, luxury items, collection items, and many more.
All other products are returnable within 14 days, market-place products and consumer electronics are returnable within 30 days.
Refunds are possible in case of items that included the original batteries, are heavy or huge, or are freight items, as well as items containing fuel or flammable liquid.
Some products available in the market are restricted from mail back and items shipped to territories of US and other non-contiguous states may have restrictions on mail back. Any affected alcohol and tobacco products not returned to their original containers may only be returned to the original retailer.
Exchange Items:
Some Products cannot be returned for anything, except a similar Product, Some Products may be returned for the same Product within 14 days – projects and drones within 30 days – air mattresses within a year – durable medical equipment within 90 days – funeral Products within 90 days.
Ineligible Item for Return & Replacement:
From the COVID situation, Walmart and the Marketplace vendors cannot offer the exchange, return, and refund of specific items to the workers and consumers. The restricted items include firearms, ammunition, weapons, pepper sprays, wheel and tires, trading cards, precious metals, medicines, pregnancy tests, diabetic and hygienic medical supplies, toilet, urinal, RV sewer line, customized order, and digital item such as gift cards and prepaid cell phones, gas powered recreational vehicle.
Store Receipted Returns:
Walmart Gift Cards can be used at stores and online, with up to 3 hours’ waiting time before the Gift Card is activated. The duration for refunds without receipt may take up to 10 business days.
Specifically, it permits Walmart to only credit back one form of payment for a multitude of purchases. In cases of online purchases people are given the receipt to take it back to the bank it was drawn from.
Non-Receipted Returns:
Customers are required to present a valid government photo identification if they want to return or exchange product without a receipt.
This information helps Walmart in accepting returns and in the process, they give them a Walmart gift card. The process must take up to three hours in average.
They added that refunds might have to be charged in cases where delivery or misuse has occurred. If age cannot be ascertained, the products such as liquor can have refund requests denied or refunded after a certain period of time.
