UPES Refund Policy

Fee Refund Policy:

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has revealed fee refund policy for UPES Online, for degree programs for academic year 2024-2025. It also includes the admission cancellations made before 30th September, 2024, or shift transfers made before 30th September 2024, and admission cancellations between 10/2024 to 31/10/2024 with a processing fee of Rs. 1000. The policy also has an extension admission schedule beyond the 31 st ofOctober in the year 2024.

Dates & % of Refund of fees:

Academic costs are refund able from October 1stto October 31st at 100%, tuition fees from November 1st to November 30th at a rate of 90%, and only 50% of attendance fee from December 1st to December 15th after which no refund is made.

Refund Case Studies & Complete Subtractions:

The UGC DEB* only pays full fees up to the final date for admissions, 50% of first semester tuition for 15 days from enrollment and full fees thereafter. Refund policy participants can withdraw one month before the start of the program, and there will be full refund. UPES provides refunds within 15 days of the cancelation notice and the latest is 45 days. Bear in mind that no costs will be refunded after the beginning of the batch. Participants have been urged to retain the transaction numbers for further use.

How to Request a Withdrawal

The UPES Online has a request for refund form which will be processed and sent to the studentโ€™s email within 40-45 days of withdrawal. UPES Management alone has all rights of decision making. In case a course is cancelled, students will also be able to get a refund within 45 days from the payment used to pay for the course. If a student cancels before a month to the start of the program, he/she will be entitled to a full refund, however, fees will not be refunded once the program begins.

Refund request :

The students can forward their refund claims to the email address: cce-lielpdeskfiupes.ac.in or they can fill the UPES Online refund form. Refund will take approximately 40-45 days.

Undergraduate Courses (For a Single Year Only)

The hostel fee will be cut down to 5 thousand rupees up to August 21, 2024, 25% from August 22-31, 50% from September 1-10, 75% from September 11-21, 2024, and not equal to September 51 onwards.

Programs for Post-Graduation (Only for First Year)

The hostel process proposed to deducts Rs. 5000/- up to 20/07/2024 and consecutive costs ยผ from 21/07-31/07, ยฝ from 01/08-10/08/ and ยพ from 11/08-21/08/ No cash redemption after the date August 21 2024. The second year allocation is uses first come first served method of allocation.

How to Request a Withdrawal

Students who wish to exit the hostel need to write an email to [email protected]. The next day if they fail to find the requisite they are supposed to report to the warden office for no-dues certificate and then vacate the hostel. We shall be entitled to revert a certain amount depending on the time of the year keys are returned starting from the day of their submission. Such indiscipline or expulsion from the hostel will not be entertained for refund or benefited by an adjustment. This policy applies irrespective of whether the registered students reside in the hostels or not.

The reimbursement claimed on the project will be between the 21st of August, 2024 and the 20th of September, 2024 The standard deduction would be Rs. 5,000 and the typical deduction Rs. 10,000.

Note of caution:

Therefore, students, parents, guardians, etc., should consult bus routes and boarding details before paying for transport. UPES Management owns and bears final authority to make all Key Decisions.
