SpiceJet Refund & Cancellation Policy

REFUND POLICY

Passengers who buy their tickets at least one week in advance can request refunds at SpiceJet and obtain them within 24 hours of departure.

Customers must pay a fine of INR 3,000 for domestic flight cancellation reservations that impact a single sector and involve exchanging tickets and for each passenger involved.

The cost for modifying a domestic booking for a passenger stands at 2250 INR for each passenger shift.

The refund process for credit card holders completes within seven days after cancellation but debit card holders might need up to 20 business days.

After purchasing a ticket people can use the “look-in option” to change or cancel their booking within a 24-hour period free of charge.

The booking cancellation fee coupled with flight modification charges are set at Rs. 250 for each passenger for every trip when done through SpiceJet Reservations or airport ticket kiosks. Cash refunds from transactions operate on a seven-day business period.

CANCELLATION POLICY

SpiceJet lets ticket holders cancel their booking when done two hours before flight departure though they will face a full cancellation charge during the last two hours.

The company gives customers who cancel before 24 hours complete refunds through both airport counters and their official website.

Customers have the opportunity to purchase credit shells as a future flight payment option. Ticket refund policies for third-party purchase transactions come from the original issuers of those tickets.

CANCELLATION POLICY & CONDITION

The amount of refund money depends on ticket type combination with the date of cancellation.

Non-refundable tickets have both no refund option while remaining subject to taxes along with all fees that apply.

Customers are eligible to receive reimbursements when their flights get canceled or delayed however weather-related and maintenance-related issues do not qualify for reimbursement.
