Pepperfry Return & Refund Policy

Return Policy:

After an item is delivered to you, you have seven (07) days to initiate a Return. After 07 (seven) days following the date of delivery, return requests are not accepted.

Defective: In the event that the product you received is flawed. A defect is the unfavorable outcome of a manufacturing error that prevents the product from being used as intended (e.g. unbalance, wooden joints opening, etc). Please be aware that look and texture—especially in the case of solid wood products are inherent features of the material used and not flaws.

Difference: If the item you received differs from the item image on our website in any way, including size, shape, or color.

Not Functional – Products that require batteries or electricity (lights, appliances, clocks, or bulbs) may not function properly if they arrive to you dead. Please be aware that there will only be replacements available.

Not Returnable

Damaged or Missing: Any claims pertaining to incomplete or damaged items, or missing parts, must be brought up at the time of delivery or assembly, as appropriate. Please be aware that we might not be able to accept return requests after the delivery or assembly is finished.

  • Problems with Installation: Since Pepperfry.com does not provide wall mounting installation services, refund requests will not be honored.
  • Relocation: Please be aware that Pepperfry will not be held liable for any product damage if, after an item has been delivered to you in pristine condition, it is later disassembled for reassembly, relocation, etc.

Return Request

  • You must take two or three crisp pictures of the item in question in order to submit a return request. The parameters to adhere to when capturing the photos are shown below.
  • One or two shots should clearly display the complete product, and one or two more should be focused on the damaged or defective part so that the pertinent issue is obvious.
  • The maximum size of the image file should be 5 MB.
  • Submit a Request for Return.

Those who have registered:

  • Enter Your Account Login Information > Navigate to the “My Account” menu and select “My Orders.”
  • Next to the product name you wish to return, select “Return This Product.”
  • Choose the “Reason” and add the illustrative photos.
  • Fill up the available dialog box with your remarks, then send the request.

Assess and Retrieve

The Pepperfry Resolution team will get in touch with you within a day of receiving the photographs.

The Pepperfry Resolution team reviews the return requests after conferring with the merchant, and if necessary, a technician visit may be arranged. Please be aware that the technician’s evaluation report will serve as the basis for the resolution.

A time for the product’s return pick-up will be determined by the technician’s assessment and your following communication with a Customer Support agent.

To guarantee a smooth pick-up, please save the product’s original packaging along with the user handbook, warranty slip, and any additional accessories.

Within 72 hours of the return pick-up request being initiated, a product that is scheduled for pick-up will be picked up by the Brand/Merchant’s logistic partner from the order’s original shipping address.

Refund policy:

Pepperfry Wallet: In Less Than a Day

Refunds can be accessed via your Pepperfry Wallet the quickest. 100% of the refund credits are available for use in your Pepperfry Wallet toward future purchases. The Pepperfry Refund credits are non-transferable and have a three-year expiration date.

Initial Payment Method

After the refund is started, it takes seven to ten business days for the money to be credited to the payment method you used. Below is the reimbursement schedule for the different modes.

  • Bank Account, Debit Card, Net Banking, and Credit Card – 4–5 Business Days
  • Offline (NEFT): 7–10 Working Days
  • Pepperfry Wallet (Refund Credits) – In less than a day

Method of Refund Payment

After the merchandise is picked up from the delivery location, the refund is performed for the cancelled item.

Refunds can be issued to your Pepperfry Wallet or to the original payment method (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, Digital Wallets, or UPI Account).

If you have selected the EMI option, the money will be returned back to your original payment method in the event of a complete refund. In the event of a partial refund, the money is transferred to your bank account via NEFT in order to prevent the remaining EMI from lapse.

From Pepperfry credits, any cashback that was earned on the order before it was canceled would be subtracted. The cashback amount will be subtracted from the refund amount of the canceled product if it has been utilized entirely or in part to place another transaction.

There may be changes based on the financial service provider’s terms and conditions and the time frame for seeking a refund.

Cancellation policy:

Cancellation of an order within a day:
Items in your order can be canceled from the “My Orders” section. Choose “Cancel” before delivery, or 24 hours after confirmation, whichever comes first. The refund will be less a 2.5% processing fee.

Order Cancellation Following Delivery or Shipment:
A cancellation fee of 5% of the total amount paid will be imposed if you need to cancel your order for unavoidable reasons after it has been shipped or delivered. This will be reviewed by the team responsible for resolution.

Cancellation Request

  1. Navigate to the “My Orders” area of your “My Account.”
  2. Select the item you wish to cancel by clicking the “Cancel Item” button next to it.
  3. In the event that you checked out as a Guest User (that is, without registering on pepperfry.com), please contact our Customer Service department to start the cancellation process.
