The Refund Policy of MakeMyTrip differs based on the kind of reservation:
Aircraft
If you use the MakeMyTrip website or mobile app and cancel at least 24 hours before departure, you will receive a 100% refund. To avoid fines, you can alternatively choose to pay an extra price to book the “Zero Cancellation” option. The full cost of the canceled flight will be reduced by the zero Cancellation fee in the event of a partial cancellation. The original account used to make the payment is credited with the Refund.
Train
If you cancel within the allotted time limit and your booking is protected by MakeMyTrip’s free cancellation policy, you will receive a full refund.
Additional Reservations
Refunds are issued to the credit card that was used to make the original reservation if you cancel before the free cancellation end date. Cancellations made after the free cancellation deadline are not refundable.
Refund Policy For Aircraft:
Refunds will be handled in accordance with the cancellation and pricing policies of the airline. The issuance of said refunds by MMT is contingent upon its receipt from the airlines. The convenience fee, which was paid to MMT at the time of booking, is not refundable, nevertheless.
MMT must be notified of any cancellations made directly with the airline in order to start the reimbursement procedure. Refund processing times can differ based on the bank, method of payment, etc. The MMT service charge, which is separate from the convenience cost as previously stated, will be subtracted before the refund is completed.
The original account used to make the payment will receive credit for the return. When a user uses a credit card, for instance, MMT will reverse the appropriate charge to that credit card; similarly, when a user uses a debit card, MMT credits the money to that same debit card.
The upfront and promo code discounts received at the time of booking will be subtracted from the refund amount in the event that partially utilized tickets are canceled and refunded.
In all circumstances, the customer’s zero cancellation fee, which they paid to use the free cancellation service, is not refundable.
Only certain domestic one-way and return flight reservations made through the Makemytrip mobile app and website are eligible for this service.
Only when both legs of a return trip qualify for zero cancellation may zero cancellation be booked on return bookings.
The customer can only receive the full waiver if he cancels the ticket at least 24 hours before departure.
Only FULL cancellations that is, cancellations of every flight a specific passenger has scheduled for any or all of the passengers in a booking are eligible for the waiver.
In the event of a partial cancellation, the full penalty for the canceled leg will be reimbursed.
If only a portion of the scheduled flights are canceled, the waiver will be calculated by subtracting the zero cancellation costs from the cost of the cancelled flights alone.
It is prohibited for customers who work as travel agents to make reservations on behalf of other people.
MakeMyTrip retains the right to reject an offer or cancel a reservation. In certain situations, MakeMyTrip will not reimburse the reservation fee.
MakeMyTrip reserves the right to add, alter, modify, change, or vary all of these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice or liability, and without assigning any reason whatsoever.
It also reserves the right to replace this offer, in whole or in part, with another offer that may or may not be similar to this one, or to extend or withdraw it completely.
