Return Policy

IndiGo has the discretionary powers to ground, postpone or re-route its flight schedule without in any way prejudiced the passengers or other third parties. However, if there are conditions beyond IndiGo’s control, such as a strike, natural disaster, weather conditions,NSS, wars, threatened wars, quarantine, ban, industrial disputes, riots or epidemics, then IndiGo may summarily cancel or postpone a flight. They range from severe weather, ATC, mechanical failure, acts of terrorism, natural catastrophes, force majeure, labor strikes, civil unrest, acts of war, hostility, disturbance, regulations, ordinances, rules, or regulations imposed by any government, absence of qualified personnel, components or stock, and industrial unrest.

IndiGo does not link up with other airlines and bears no responsibility for customers trying to link up with or from other airlines and the associated losses. IndiGo’s policy says that passengers from the delayed flight are free to have their money back or to be assigned to another IndiGo’s flight immediately. If a customer is on board an IndiGo aircraft and his subsequent segment is cancelled, he can stay at the transit station, get a partial refund for the unused segment, go back to originating place get refund and/or credit for future IndiGo travel or rebook on another IndiGo flight where the provisions state that the passenger will not be asked to pay anything more for the new flight.

IndiGo uses its Connected Segments/Route system in circumstances that involve delay or cancellation of a flight. If for some reason a connecting flight is delayed or cancelled at the point of origin, passengers may be offered a refund for the flight, a check for future IndiGo travel, or be allowed to transfer to another IndiGo flight free of charge.

Cancellation Policy

The penalty for cancelling domestic flight is INR 3500 if cancellation in done within 0-3 days prior to the departure of the flight , for 4 days the penalty is INR 3000.

International flights INR 6500 for up to 3 days, INR 6000 for 4 days.
