IGNOU Refund Policy

Refund of fees:

A refunded amount at the time of admission, the registration fee will be assessed in addition to the first semester or year’s program price.

If a student requests a return of fees and cancellation of their application or acceptance, the request will be reviewed in accordance with university policy as follows.

Prior to admittance confirmation: Refunds will be issued for the entire program fee.

Refund policy:

  1. There is no refund for the registration money.
  2. The payment will be reimbursed before admittance is confirmed.
  3. If the request for cancellation is received after the admission confirmation, a sum equal to 15% of the course price, up to a maximum of Rs. 2000/-, will be subtracted from the fee paid.
  4. If a student chooses to receive a soft copy of the SLM, the registration cost alone will be subtracted from the reimbursement of the paid amount.
  5. Only the Development cost will be reimbursed upon the receipt of a cancellation request from a student who has only paid the Registration and Development fees and has taken advantage of the fee exemption.
  6. After 60 days of the admissions deadline, there will be no reimbursement of the admissions fee.
  7. The date the candidate submits a request to cancel their admission will be used for calculating the remaining time.
  8. The day of confirmation of admission will not be included in the length of time.
  9. The original Debit/Credit card or Net Banking account used to make the payment will get the refund. However, the user will be in charge of obtaining the money back from the bank in question if the Debit or Credit card’s validity expires in between and the bank accepts the refund notwithstanding the card’s expiration of validity. The refund of the fee will be performed through NEFT after getting the student’s account information in the event that the bank under the mentioned debit or credit card account rejects the refund or the payment gateway through which the payment was originally received closes.
  10. The candidate will submit a written or email request to the relevant Regional Director Registrar SRD for such cancellation and return of costs in the event that admission is canceled and/or funds are refunded.
  11. The above-mentioned fee refund policies will take effect with the January 2023 entrance cycle.
  12. A development fee of Rs. 200/-has been agreed by the 79th Academic Council to be assessed to all students beginning with the January 2023 admission cycle.

The ONE program fee will be kept. The program fee, which includes the registration fee, will be reimbursed for any further tries.

1) Refunds will be issued within 15 days of the admissions confirmation, deducting Rs. 500 from the program fee. The registration cost is non-refundable.

2) Within ninety days following enrollment confirmation Refunds will be issued following a Rs. 1000 deduction. The registration cost is non-refundable.

3)After 90 days of the entrance confirmation, there will be no refunds.
