Giva Return, Refund & Exchange policy

Return Policy:

We offer a 30-day return policy for all unused and unworn items, no questions asked.

However, please note that the 30-day return does not apply to personalised jewellery, perfumes, candles, coins, utensils, and God idols other than in cases of defective/spurious products.

GIVA reserves the right to process refunds after checking the returned items. In case you have purchased a GIVA product from anywhere other than the GIVA Website, GIVA App or GIVA Exclusive Stores, the return policies of your source of purchase shall apply. Any shipping charges (if paid) at the time of placing the order are non refundable in case of returns

Return Process

  • Our website or app are the places where you can start a return request.
  • As an alternative, get in contact with our Customer Support staff, and they’ll walk you through the steps.
  • We ask that you be available for the reverse pick-up and take calls from the delivery partner as soon as you schedule the return request.
  • The delivery partner reserves the right to cancel the reverse pick-up if you are not available or are unable to answer the calls. The procedure will need to be started over in each of these situations, adding to the overall timeframe.

Please be aware that although the majority of pin codes can be used both forward and backward, there are very rare instances in which a pin code can only be used forward and not backward.

 In any of these situations, we reserve the right to ask you to return the item via a different courier service, like India Post, and to reimburse you for any reasonable shipping fees (up to Rs. 70) paid throughout the return processing procedure.

If the charges are more than Rs. 70, the customer’s refund will be deducted from any additional expenses (such as return shipping, customs, taxes, fees, etc.). The buyer has the responsibility of returning the jewellery to our warehouse in the event that the pin code is not usable. They will be refunded with shipping charges of Rs. 70.

Within 48 hours of the delivery being delivered, please contact our customer care staff for assistance if, in the odd event that you receive an empty parcel or a missing product. To proceed with the request, we will need a 360-degree video of the package being unpacked.

30-day returns: If your item is returned within 30 days of delivery, you can do so without asking questions and receive a full refund, provided that the items are successfully inspected (which could take up to 7 days after the items are received at the company’s warehouse or store) and that a video showcasing the return packaging with the original product, invoice, and authenticity certificate is submitted. Personalized and made-to-order items, however, are only returnable in the event that they are spurious or damaged, and are not covered by the 30-day return policy.

Refund Policy:

If you have asked for any of your products to be returned, we will begin processing your refund as soon as the item is received back at our warehouse.

  • Kindly be advised that reimbursements require a minimum of 7–10 working days from the moment the jewelry is received at our central warehouse or store.
  • The average weight of the goods determines the price on the website/app. The weight of your merchandise may vary. A small excess charge or refund may be imposed if the actual goods weighs differently than what was ordered; you will be notified of this within 48 hours of placing your order.
  • After receiving this correspondence, you will have 24 hours to decide whether to cancel your order. We ask that you pay the entire money up front in the event of COD.
  • Within 48 hours at most of the delivery date, short collection requests must be made and any excess money collected will be reimbursed. The weight shown on the invoice will be the weight that is used in the end.

Please be aware that you will need to present the original invoice (hard copy or soft copy) and all certifications, including the IGI/SGL certificates (strictly original and hard copy), in order to take use of any of the services included in the authenticity certificate (return, exchange, buyback, or guarantee).

If any of the documentation are missing, the product will not be accepted for return, exchange, or warranty.

Please be aware that there may be a 2% difference between the product’s weight, dimensions, and color as stated in the specs.

Only gold jewelry with diamond accents is eligible for all gold jewelry offerings.

Lifetime plating service – In India, jewelry purchased from GIVA stores, the GIVA website, or the GIVA app is eligible for a 5-year lifetime plating service starting on the date of purchase.

Please be aware that gold coins are not eligible for 30-day returns, warranties, buybacks, or exchanges.

Exchange Policy:

You can also request an exchange or replacement order based on your needs. The terms are still the same as they are for returns. Only once the original return has been accepted or delivered (in the case of Gold products) will the replacement be shipped.

You will receive credits equal to 100% of the price you paid for diamonds, solitaires, or pearls, and (a) gold (adjusted for 24kt purity) at the current market value. Making fees and GST, however, will be subtracted at the time of purchase.

This credit can be applied as a discount to your subsequent orders or added to your GIVA Wallet, which you can then use to place other orders in the future. Changes could be made depending on the product

Lifetime exchange & buyback

After 30 days, you can choose to have your jewellery that you bought from GIVA stores, the GIVA website, or the GIVA app in India exchanged or bought back for a maximum of five years from the date of purchase. There will be no returning or exchanging of gold coins.

In the event that we discover any flaws or defects in the product that was returned to us such as missing stones or packing, damages, etc. the repurchase or exchange price will be modified in accordance with the severity of the flaw or defect.

The Company may, in its sole discretion, decline to accept the product in the event of serious damage. The Company’s decision shall be final and binding in all such cases.

Please be aware that repurchase and exchange policies are exclusively applicable to GIVA jewelry; other jewelry, regardless of brand, purity, etc., will not be accepted.
