Return & Exchange Policy

30-DAY RETURN

  • All designs are eligible for a 30-day exchange. Gold coins and items with engravings or personalizations are exempt from this.
  • After delivery, we provide exchanges for up to 30 days.
  • Customers may return your design once for the full amount within 30 days of purchase.
  • Once a design has been exchanged within the 30-day exchange period, it cannot be exchanged again.
  • The consumer will be responsible for any difference in value if the new jewelry is more expensive than the old item.
  • The cost of freight is not refundable.

30-DAY REFUNDABLE PLAN

  • All designs are 100% refundable for returns made within 30 days, with the exception of gold coins and engraved and personalized items.
  • A 30-day money-back guarantee or exchange cannot be applied to any design that exhibits indications of wear and tear, has been altered, resized (by a jeweler other than CaratLane), or has sustained damage.
  • The cost of freight is not refundable.

Please follow the steps listed below to Return a diamond or jewelry item to CaratLane:

1) Initiate your Return
Once you have started your return, you will receive an email with a free FedEx, UPS, or DHL delivery label if you are returning within 30 days.

2) Put your item(s) in their original packaging materials and wrap them securely.
If you are returning a product for a refund or exchange, please enclose any appraisals or diamond grading reports. Repairs and resizing don’t need diamond grading reports or assessments. You will be responsible for the $150 USD replacement cost if your item was sent with a diamond report and that report is not returned. Do not write CaratLane anywhere on the outside of the box for security reasons.

3) It is highly advised that you obtain full purchase value insurance for your return shipment.
Articles that are stolen or lost are not our responsibility. You will receive an email with a shipping label that includes insurance cover if you want to use our free return service. We advise getting insurance protection for your jewelry if you are not using our free service.

After We Receive Your Return

Within 24 hours after receipt, returns are processed and recorded into our system. You will receive a confirmation email when your return has been entered into our system, informing you that it has been forwarded to our Quality Assurance department. Kindly give this process a day or two to finish.

Within three business days, a credit will be sent to your bank if you are awaiting a refund. The funds may not appear in your account for up to ten business days, depending on your bank. After the return has been processed, bank transfer refunds of USD $1500 or more usually take seven to ten business days. Refunds will be handled and sent back to the original payer.

Please be aware that higher return volumes following a major holiday may cause the typical return processing timeframes to double.

Replacement Policy

  • For every design sold, a one-year replacement will be provided in the event of manufacturing flaws.
  • Depending on the design, the repair facility may or may not be available.
  • After a year after purchase, repairs would be billed based on the actual amount of design work that needed to be done.

Insured Transportation

  1. Until they are delivered to the customer, every order is fully insured.
  2. Until they are returned to the source, all returns are fully insured.

A Year’s Warranty
All designs come with a one-year warranty against manufacturing problems.

Items That Are Not Refundable

  • Not applicable to gold coins or items with engravings or personalization.
  • Special orders cannot be returned or exchanged; they are final sales.
  • The cost of shipping is not refundable.
  • Product or paperwork missing will prevent returns from being handled.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for an exchange or refund. Within a day of your return request, we will email you a fully insured, free mailing label.

Please be aware that things must be returned to us within 30 days in their original purchasing condition, complete with all product documentation.

We advise placing a new order and returning the first item for a refund in order to speed up the exchange process for a different product. Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days.

Should a box or item be sent to you damaged upon arrival, kindly decline the shipment or contact us right once at (844)-922-2728. Save all packing materials unless CaratLane instructs you otherwise. Within two days after receiving your order, you must submit any claims for missing or damaged goods.

Customers may return your design once for the full amount within 30 days of purchase. Orders that have already been exchanged under the 30-Day Exchange Policy are not eligible for the 30-Day Money-Back. Should the value of the exchanged product exceed that of the original item, the client will be responsible for covering the difference.

Items That Are Not Resizable

The quantity of gemstones per finger size is limited in diamond and gemstone eternity rings; intricate or milgrain bands cannot be changed, so be sure to order the appropriate ring size when making your purchase. Modify or Cancel an Order

Order modifications will be accommodated as much as feasible prior to delivery confirmation. There will be a shipping delay due to some adjustments. Orders that have been shipped, as well as special order requests, cannot be changed or canceled. If your order has already delivered, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to arrange for a return of merchandise.
