Return Policy
A shipment may be returned to the sender by Blue Dart for a variety of reasons, such as the consignee refusing delivery or payment, the shipment being deemed unsatisfactory, or the shipment being undervalued for GST or customs purposes.
The shipper shall bear all costs in the event that Blue Dart returns a cargo. Blue Dart should not be liable to the shipper if they are unable to return the shipment; instead, they may discharge, sell, or dispose of it.
The sender has 30 days from the day the shipment was accepted to give written notice to the closest Blue Dart Express office in order to file a claim.
After this deadline, claims cannot be made. Until all charges have been paid, no claims for loss or damage may be filed.
Within 30 days of the date of acceptance, the shipper must file any claims and submit them in writing to the BDE office closest to the place where the shipment was accepted. After this point, no claim against BDE may be made.
Up until all fees are paid, no claims for loss or damage will be accepted.
There will be no deduction from any transportation fees payable to BDE for the amount of any such claim.
If a shipper’s shipment is urgent, they should obtain sufficient insurance since Blue Dart does not take responsibility for any resulting claims or liabilities.

Delivery on Schedule

Payment upon Delivery (COD)
At the moment of delivery, you will retrieve the invoice value of the cargo you scheduled in cash from the consignee. To finish the transaction, the money that was taken from the consignee will be given back to you.
Demand Draft on Delivery, or DOD
At the time of delivery, a demand draft for the invoice value of the shipment you scheduled will be obtained from the consignee. To finish the transaction, the demand draft that was obtained from the consignee will be sent back to you.
Freight on Delivery, or FOD
At the time of delivery, the consignee will be required to pay the shipment’s freight.
FOV (Freight on Value): Security Agreement
Your items can be insured through an insurance company with the help of Blue Dart Express (BDE). Should your shipment be lost or damaged while under BDE’s care, BDE can help you file a claim and make sure it is resolved as soon as possible when the shipper or consignee gives the necessary paperwork to the insurance provider.
