Bata Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

Our goal is to make sure you are happy with every item you have ordered.

If for any reason you’re not happy with your purchase, you can return any item you purchased from BATA Home Service or the website within 30 days of the order’s delivery date, as long as it complies with the guidelines listed below.

To swap an order for home delivery, please get in touch with customer service.

In order to get your merchandise exchanged, the store will need to see your invoice, so please keep it secure and undamaged.

Return and Replacement Policies:

Within 30 calendar days of the product’s delivery date, a return request for a refund or replacement must be made via the “Purchase and Order section” of www.bata.in (accessible after user registration) or by calling customer service at 72 899 00000.

If the goods match the aforementioned return requirements or not, you can still return them after 30 days with Bata’s Customer Service approval. We maintain the right to reject the return.

Returns must be scheduled through a logistic service partner for pickup. If the logistic service partner is unable to fulfill this obligation, you will receive a notification and will need to arrange for a reputable courier in your area to deliver the merchandise to the address provided in the notification.

Upon satisfactory delivery of the product and its verification, you will be refunded for the freight costs associated with it.

Returns are subject to validation and inspections to establish the authenticity of the return or complaint. Your product will be examined for the following issues when it is picked up:

  • Accuracy  – All the information—IMEI, name, image, brand, serial number, article number, and bar code—should match, and the MRP tag should remain in place and be easily readable.
  • Wholeness – Included should be all included in-box accessories, freebies, warranty cards, and combos (if applicable).
  • Not in Use  – The item must be brand-new, never been used, clean, stain-free, and, if applicable, have intact quality check and warranty seals.
  • Damage-free (Product)  – There should be no dents, scratches, splits, or holes in the product.
  • Damage-free (Packaging)  – The product must be in its original brand-new packaging.

If products are not returned in accordance with the aforementioned guidelines, their requests for returns may be denied.

If you send products straight to the Bata/Bata store without our permission, they may also be refused for return (for a refund or replacement), in which case you release Bata from all liability.

The product will be shipped back to you if it fails the verification and checks after being received.
You won’t receive your refund until the product has been received and verified.

A partial refund will be given to you if the new product’s price is less than what you initially paid.

Orders placed on the website are not presently eligible for exchange or replacement. You have the option to cancel, return the order (as per policy guidelines), and place a fresh order for the requested adjustment.

It is important to wrap products carefully to prevent damage during transportation.

If a product is returned in error, Bata will not be held liable. When a product that was not purchased from or transacted via Bata is inadvertently returned, neither Bata nor the Bata/Bata store will be held liable for the product’s replacement or loss, nor will they be in charge of having it returned to you. In this regard, you relinquish any and all rights against Bata.

Method of Refund Payment

The following payment methods will receive a refund from us:

  • Wallets, credit cards, debit cards, UPIs, and other prepaid payment instruments
  • Bank Account via Net Banking for IMPS
  • Pay Upon Delivery  – Bank account NEFT
  • Voucher or gift card  – Present certificate or gift card

To confirm your identity, we could ask for information or documentation before starting the refund process.

As agreed upon, we will return your money using one of the aforementioned payment methods if the mode of payment has expired or is no longer viable.

Refunds will only be issued in Indian Rupees.

Return Request:

  • If we see that you have a transactional history of frequent returns, we retain the right to charge whatever fees are required to cover the cost of delivery and pick-up.
  • Also, if we see a transactional history of frequent returns, we retain the right to exclude the products from return, refund, or replacement.
  • We might also let you know that we’ve stopped accepting returns from you, in which case you’ll be responsible for paying for and organizing your own shipping to return the item to Bata.
  • You will bear all duty and risk for these returns, including the burden of proving your right to a refund. Only after meeting the aforementioned requirements will products that are returned be refunded or replaced.
  • Should the received product not pass the verification and checks, you will be responsible for paying for the product’s return shipping.

Shipping Regulations:

  • All verified purchases will be shipped out within one to two business days of receipt. The precise delivery date will be sent to you through email and SMS from Shiprocket, our delivery partner.
  • At the time of checkout, a normal shipping price of Rs. 49 will be applied if the value of your order is less than Rs. 699. When an order or cart value exceeds Rs. 699, there is no additional shipping charge.
  • Monday through Saturday is when we ship, with the exception of public holidays.
  • As of right now, orders can only be mailed to one destination address. You will need to place numerous orders if you want things shipped to different addresses.
  • Although we will try our best to dispatch every item in your order at the same time, product availability or other factors may make this not always possible.
  • Orders cannot be canceled once they are dispatched. When the courier partner arrives, you have the option to decline delivery if you still want to cancel.
  • The courier may need five working days to pick up your purchase if you are returning a goods after delivery.
  • When a product is successfully picked up and quality checked, the refund process will begin.
  • Refunds will be processed seven working days after the date of pick-up for returned items.
  • The shipping charge is not refundable in the event that a customer returns an item.
