Education
After a student exits the institution, the account will be credited with tuition fees and, except the initial $200, no refund will be made for this fee during the Spring/Summer term.
Ancillary fees and Registration
These costs are not occuring in a later term and cannot be refunded should students ัะปััะฐัั the first day of instruction.
Course supplies and Apparel
For the eBooks sold by the Algoma University Bookstore, refunds can only be given within one month from the time of purchase while physical courseware can only be returned for refund within 2 weeks if the seal is unbroken.
Textbooks and Course Materials
Return course materials by the specified date within 7 business days if bought after the campus date and final week purchases or exams are nonrefundable. Digital items attract non-refundable digital delivery fee.
Online Course Resources
All eBooks and physical courseware are refundable within 14 days from date of purchase, but all the refund requests are invalid if more than 10% of the content have been printed or viewed, respectively. McGraw Hill Connect and MyMathLab are examples of the latter kind of products: digital courseware that can be Ethernet 14 days from the date of purchase for any amount of content consumed.
Hardware and Software
No computer software and hardware are accepted if they are in their sealed packaging and the customer wants his/her money back within 14 days of he/she receiving it but nothing is final than electronic software downloads.
Additional Products
The customer has 45 days to send back unused, in manufacturersโ packaging products, exceptions being beauty products, gift card, shipping and handling charges and clearance items.
Two Return Options
Case Refund:
To return an item, please return your packing slip and receipt to the campus bookstore.
Mail-back Returns:
Give your order and a memo. Shipping costs are borne by the buyer and, please, use only a courier service with insurance and track number. Do not discard shipping documents and other related papers until you have been reimbursed.
