Aakash Institute Refund Policy

Registration costs:

Tuition fees for admission, scholarship, short term class room instruction fees and payments for test series are non refundable under any circumstances.

Fees for courses:

Returns are acceptable fifteen days before the first test or shipping date, with a full refund possible. Those requested in relation to completed tests or dispatches shall be delivered and must be claimed by the parent or legal guardian.

Refund Policy:

When it comes to refund, the business is equally transparent and also demands a refund application or grievance letter from parents /guardians of students withdrawing their admission. The amount of refund depends on the date of application submission, and the โ€œSavings Accountโ€ is used for the Returns. Batch charges include fee for Classroom instructions, there is no provision to refund the fees charged once the Batch starts. The fees of the short-term classroom courses and test series, are non-refundable. For week 1-5 or later, signing up fee and digital access and admission kit fees are non-refundable.

Tuition Fee, Technology Charge & Exam Cost

A refund policy regarding a course is fully refundable, but day to day rates of refund is from starting of the batch to 5th week. Course time refers to the time taken from the registration/batch start till the end date of a course. Money is refunded through subsequent installations, and withdrawn students may only utilize digital tools if they pay the admission fee in full.

Tablet Course or Standalone Tablet return Policy:

There is no cancellation of an admission of a student to a Standalone Tablet course. However, Admission Kit Fee will be recoverable, based on product cost change in this case. The refund policy is based on registration date and class attendance date and the date that withdrawal request filed.

Mode of Payment of Refund:

Any refund applicable to the scholarship application must be done within a reasonable time after the branch which received the application. Fees have to be paid online and the Institute takes no responsibility for any wrong information provided. All scholarship-eligible students must fill out hard copies of the need-based scholarship application and submit it to the Financial Aid Office by July 26 and must also attach a photocopy of Class X Board Exam grade sheet. A refund will be received in August in accordance with the qualified merit scholarship.

Refund Calculation & Date:

The forum said that Aakash Institute should pay โ‚น15,000 towards litigation costs and โ‚น10,000 as compensation for mental torture and harassment that the complainant had to undergo due to negligent act of the said Institute. The period used in refund calculation is from July 10 to December 13 while the ones that will not be computed for refund are form July 16 to November 13 only. They also directed the Aakash Institute to return โ‚น 39,226 to the complainants less โ‚น 1000 with interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of application. Parents can request refunds for reg fees and 1st installment; however, entry fees and fees paid for early scholar examination will not be refunded.

Transfer of Students: From one city’s branch or center to another city’s branch or center

Fees may be paid through instalments, lump sum or onetime. Any amount in excess of this fee has to be paid as a remittance based on the cost incurred. If the cost is less, the amount of difference will not be reimbursed.
